CMA Outreach Ministries seek to impact our local area, sharing the truth and love of Christ in word and deed to those in need in the community. Some projects bring temporary help for immediate needs, while others seek to create lasting solutions to long-term issues.
Care for the City seeks to serve some of the deepest and most systemic needs in the community. Many of its projects are conducted in partnership with other organizations that specialize in providing help to unique needs.
Friends 4 Families is a family advocacy ministry that CMA Church is developing in partnership with Chestnut Mountain Village, with a focus on meeting the needs of vulnerable children and families.
The Assisted Living Ministry team visits several local assisted living centers each month. Visits are monthly on Tuesday afternoons and include a Bible message and singing of hymns.
The Food Cupboard gathers food items for monthly distribution to individuals and families in need. The distribution usually takes place on the last Monday of each month (with exceptions made for holidays).
HOPE is a ministry to Internationals living in Morgantown. Weekly gatherings on Friday nights throughout the WVU academic year and events throughout the summer provide an opportunity to share a free meal together, meet new people, explore answers to life’s questions from the Bible, and improve English skills.

Brent Liberda
Associate Pastor
Brent’s first career was in forestry, and he became a believer while working in the mountains of North Idaho. His career path led him to an Alliance church in Prattville, AL, where he was baptized, discipled, and felt God’s call to missionary service.
While completing educational requirements for missionary service at Crown College of the CMA, he met his wife Lisa, and soon after marrying they pursued God’s call to cross-cultural ministry with the Pueblo Indian nations in New Mexico. After a decade of church-planting ministry in the Pueblos, they transitioned to overseas service and spent the next decade in missionary service in Mongolia. Due to health issues they were not able to remain in Mongolia and were redeployed to Paraguay. Unfortunately, the health issues pesisted and the Liberdas had to leave Paraguay and transition to stateside ministry. Fortunately, this change brought them to CMA Church. Pastor Brent oversees Missions, Outreach Ministries, and Community Groups. He and Lisa are delighted have the opportunity to serve and to be part of this church family!
